The Georgia Education Mentorship Program Selects Next Generation of Georgia's Leaders

The GEM Program is a one-of-a-kind partnership between Georgia College and the Georgia Chamber of Commerce that prepares the next generation of Georgia's leaders for the public good.
“This program provides a great opportunity for GC students who are looking to improve their leadership skills and form friendships with like-minded students and industry professionals,” said program graduate Monica Klinkmueller. “I was able to make valuable connections and form a lasting relationship with my mentor.”
Established in 2002, the GEM program matches students with senior state leaders for a year-long mentorship that creates mutual benefit between GC and its partners. Across nearly two decades, the program has graduated more than 500 students.
